Dr. Plascyk is a dentist who performs minimally therapy in Charlotte, NC. Like all concerned dentists, Dr. Plascyk wants to remove as little natural oral tissue as possible. Although traditional gum surgery is necessary at times, Dr. Plascyk does everything possible to avoid surgical therapy for his patients. Dr. Plascyk uses an oral antimicrobial program which includes the use of oxygen/ozone to initially treat gum or periodontal (gum) disease. Like all effective antimicrobial programs, this program, along with our patient's improved home care, can eliminate the need for most surgical procedures. When more treatment is required after the initial antimicrobial program, Dr. Plascyk can usually do less invasive laser therapy on the gums.
