Digital X rays, Dentist Charlotte NC

Dr. Plascyk uses digital x-rays in his practice. There are two advantages to digital x-rays over traditional non-digital x-rays:

  1. Significant decrease in radiation to the patient
  2. More diagnostic than traditional x-rays (once they are digitized)

In addition, digital x-rays provide a secure and simple method to store or transfer dental records. Because no toxic chemicals are required for development, digital x-rays are also safer for the environment than traditional radiographs.
